  -  Resource transformation for file 'file' failed.  MICROSOFT
The resources processor used to transform .resx files into binary .resources files failed. The specific reason (if any) is appended to the end of the string. The build process will fail if this error occurs. This error is most likely caused by a bad .resx file. For example, the file may have been opened and modified in a text editor. If you receive a of "Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'NewControlName.' Key being added: 'ControlName.'," read the following steps to reproduce and correct the error. To reproduce this error Create a new Windows application. By default, Form1 is created. On the View menu, click Properties. In the Properties window, set the Localizable property to True. In the Properties windows, click Language, and then set the value to "Japanese". From the toolbox, drag a button onto the form. Change the name of the button from "Button1" to "BUTTON1". On the Build menu, click Build Solution.
On the File menu, point to Open, and then click File. Locate the Form1.resx file, and then click OK. Form1.resx is displayed. Locate the original key values, and then manually delete them from the data list. For example, you have a button named "Button1". You modify the name of this button to "BUTTON1". The key values for both "Button1" and "BUTTON1" are in Form1.resx. Remove all the entries of "Button1", and then rebuild the project. If you receive a of " Invalid ResX input," the error is most likely due to the .resx file format being modified after the release of Visual Studio 2005. To resolve this problem, use the RegenResx conversion tool to convert the .resx file format. The RegenResx conversion tool is available from the following Microsoft Web site: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=35854.

  -  The referenced component 'component' could not be found.  MICROSOFT
The project system could not resolve a particular reference. Double-clicking this Task List item will set focus to Solution Explorer and select the reference that could not be resolved. Edit the ReferencePaths property such that appropriate directories are included in the path. This error can occur if you move a project to another computer. The ReferencePath property is stored as an absolute path. If reference R1 resides in c:\R\R1.dll on computer A, the .vbproj.user or .csproj.user file will store c:\R as part of the ReferencePath property. If, however, on computer B, R1 resides in d:\R\R1.dll, the project system will not be able to find R1 because d:\R is not on the reference path. A similar scenario is the source-code-control scenario. If you enlist in a project, the .vbproj.user (or .csproj.user) file is not copied to your computer because it is not stored in source control. Therefore, the initial value of the ReferencePath property will be blank, and any references that rely on ReferencePath for resolution will be unresolved. For more information, see "Managing Dependencies" in Team Development with Visual Studio .NET and Visual SourceSafe. This error can also be caused if a referenced project is not in the current solution. When this error occurrs, the project may not build. For more information on resolving assembly references, see Troubleshooting Broken References (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ayds71se.aspx).
